We had a really interesting and informative lecture last month on the Monarch butterfly!  We learned so much about this special pollinator and the amazing life cycle and migration they have.  Did you know that Monarch’s only lay their eggs and the larvae only feed on milkweed? Did you know at one point there were approx 15 Billion Monarchs in the world and now they are down to 50 million! WOW!!  We were all given packets of milkweed and everyone is strongly encouraged to plant milkweed!

Holiday Decorating

Time to think about decorating for the holidays. Many items found in the yard make for beautiful arrangements. Look for Magnolia leaves, holly, boxwood and Nandina to add a festive look to your decorations.
